Job summary

ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Co-op to join our team. You will support estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, shop drawing reviews, billing, and site visits under the guidance of experienced project managers.

This 6-8 month full-time co-op offers hands-on experience, a competitive hourly pay, a housing stipend, and a clear path to full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor's degree program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 on 4.0 scale.
• Prior internship or co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Estimating: describe proposals and assign dollar values.
• Scheduling: create a working timeline for subcontractors/trades.
• Design meetings: attend with owner and team to understand proposals.
• Buyout: issue bid instructions, schedule and drawings, evaluate proposals.
• Permitting: fill out and submit permit forms with drawings and fees.
• Shop drawing/submittal review: evaluate and coordinate with PM.
• Billing: manage subcontracts, change orders, pay requests.
• Job site visits: accompany PM to ensure project runs smoothly.
