Summary of Job:

This position is responsible for assisting journeyman level plumbers with installations and pipe repairs, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. The role involves studying building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and the sequence of installations.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • 18-24 months of related experience and/or training required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely, and effective solutions.
  • Proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
  • Experience in providing quality, professional customer-related services.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Professionalism in handling disruptions.
  • Ability to work independently in a commercial setting.
