Job summary

The Lee Company is looking for an Assistant Pipefitter to support the assembling, installation, and maintenance of pipe systems across steam, hot water, heating, and other industrial processes.

Qualified applicants have a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of related experience or training. Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot service issues with systematic, timely solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitters with assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems and supports.
• Maintain related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for various systems.
• Support safety and quality during installation and service activities.

Job description

Assist Pipefitters with assembling, installing, and maintaining pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent, and 1-3 years related experience and/or training is required.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to troubleshoot service issues with systematic, thoughtful, timely and effective solutions and procedures
• Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment
• Experience in providing quality, professional customer related services
• Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment
• Ability to handle disruptions in stride with professionalism.
