Job summary

RAM Construction Services seeks a Payroll Coordinator to support payroll across Michigan, Ohio, and Minnesota. The role handles weekly payroll for hourly and salaried staff, administers union payroll requirements, and ensures compliance with CBAs and Davis-Bacon rules.

You will maintain payroll data in ADP Workforce Now, manage union fringe contributions, and prepare certified payroll reports while collaborating with HR, accounting, and site leadership to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of payroll experience required.
• Strong Excel skills with data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with construction payroll practices and union regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state wage laws and prevailing wage rules.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for multi-state office personnel and field staff.
• Manage multi-state union fringe contributions and certified payroll reporting.
• Maintain wage rates, classifications, fringe benefits, and rate tables in the payroll system.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for numerous projects.
• Collaborate with HR, Superintendents, Accounting, and Management on payroll reporting.
