Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Payroll Solutions Operations Manager to lead the payroll technology portfolio, including COINS ERP Payroll, Time and Attendance, and tax reporting. The role drives system health, upgrades, testing, integrations, and production support while partnering with HR & Payroll Innovation to ensure new capabilities are transitioned and sustained in operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience supporting payroll systems, HRIS, ERP, workforce management, or related applications.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing analysts, project teams, or technology resources.
• Experience with enterprise payroll platforms (Workday, UKG, ADP, Oracle, SAP, Vista, etc.).
• CPP, Workday, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll systems support, maintenance, issue resolution, and process improvement.
• Own payroll system health, performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with HR & Payroll Innovation to roadmap payroll capabilities.
• Oversee payroll-related integrations, reporting, and data governance.
• Develop KPIs to measure system performance and business value.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with payroll leaders and field teams.
