Job summary

BBSI is seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Support Specialist in an in-office environment to manage construction payroll for ~50 employees and provide HR administration support including onboarding and records.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction payroll experience, knowledge of certified payroll, prevailing wage, and fringe benefit calculations, and strong Excel and payroll system skills.

Qualifications

• Construction payroll knowledge and hands-on experience required.
• Familiarity with certified payroll, prevailing wage, and fringe benefits.
• Experience handling payroll for union employees.

Responsibilities

• Process construction payroll accurately and timely for multiple employees.
• Prepare certified payroll and prevailing wage reports.
• Manage union payroll, benefits reports, and remittances.
• Verify timekeeping, job classifications, wage rates, overtime, and fringe benefits.
• Set up new construction projects, codes, classifications, and wage reporting.
• Maintain payroll and HR records and support onboarding.
