Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and vendor payments, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and union regulations, including certified payroll reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll:

• Process weekly payroll, including fringe benefits, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reports.
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure accurate labor coding and timekeeping.
• Respond to payroll audits and maintain accurate records.

Accounts Payable:

• Process vendor invoices, match with purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate payment schedules and process payments via checks and ACH.
• Assist with job cost allocations and ensure proper coding accuracy.
