Job summary

CRH's United Companies is seeking a Pipe Crew Laborer to join our construction/paving crew on-site. The role involves transitioning between tasks, supporting labor and paving activities, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Applicants should be prepared for physical work, adherence to safety rules, and potential travel or night shifts as required. The wage range is $18–$22 per hour, based on experience, with standard OSHA and PPE requirements and opportunities for training and development

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• No experience required, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment following safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist crew with duties like shoveling, raking, and moving material.
• Signal equipment operators to coordinate movement and placement of materials.
• Follow Foreman's daily tasks and project expectations.
• May operate small power tools if needed.
• Digs, spreads, and levels construction materials.
• Assist with setup and removal of signs and traffic controls.
