Rummel Construction, Inc. in Tucson, AZ seeks a Day Shift Construction Parts Runner.

You will drive to jobsites in the Tucson/Nogales area and beyond to deliver small parts, supplies, and materials, maintaining clear communication with the dispatcher and supporting maintenance and purchasing operations. The role requires knowledge of automotive parts, a clean driving record, ability to lift and unload items, and the capacity to pass DOT medical clearance.

Qualifications

Construction Parts Runner - Day Shift

DAY SHIFT - CONSTRUCTION PARTS RUNNER

Rummel Construction, Inc. is currently seeking a Parts Runner. This is a safety sensitive position that requires comprehensive product knowledge of automotive parts. This position is responsible for operating a company motor vehicle to travel to jobsites, throughout the Tucson/Nogales area, and out of state to deliver small parts, supplies, and materials. Responsible for maintaining constant communication with a dispatcher to advise of destination and must communicate with vendors and suppliers. Must have an acceptable driving record, knowledge and the ability to navigate the geographic area, and the ability to lift, load, and unload parts and materials. Parts Runners are a critical part of our maintenance and purchasing department. Parts Runners pick up and deliver crucial materials, parts and more to jobsites around the state. Their deliveries support our ongoing work and ensure that we can continue operations the next day.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

• Comprehensive product knowledge of automotive parts
• Must have an acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of/ability to navigate the geographic area
• Ability to lift load/unload parts and materials
• Must be able to pass DOT Medical Clearance and Regulated Drug Screen for a CMV driver in the State of Arizona (required to pull trailers)
• Must have knowledge of utilizing technology (i.e. i-phone, phone applications, etc.)
• Must be able to work from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, additional hours may be available based on the varied daily needs
