Job summary

Capital City College in London is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to own growth in construction, win new employer partners, and expand existing accounts across our apprenticeship portfolio.

You will build a robust pipeline of construction employers, from main contractors to specialist trades, and convert leads into funded apprenticeships while collaborating with curriculum and delivery teams to ensure success.

Qualifications

• Sector knowledge or experience in Construction.
• Business development / sales experience and a passion for education and skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience in a business development role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Win new employer partners and grow the value of existing accounts.
• Use market intelligence to spot opportunities, including levy and non-levy funding routes.
• Record and report pipeline, conversion and income in our CRM.
• Work with curriculum, apprenticeship delivery and Group colleagues so that what you sell is delivered well.
