Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations to lead daily operations, strengthen project execution, and support long-term growth.

This hands-on, player-coach role balances strategic oversight with direct project involvement, reporting to the owner and overseeing performance, mentorship, client relations, and financial results. Ideal candidates will balance strategic direction with field-level problem solving, drive high-quality outcomes, and foster a culture of accountability

Qualifications

Proven senior leadership in construction.
Experience managing projects up to $35 million.
Strong budgeting, cost control, and P&L responsibility.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations, drive project execution, uphold safety, quality, schedule and profitability.
Team Development: Mentor staff, recruit future leaders, foster accountability and performance.
Project Oversight: Provide senior-level support and step in to manage complex projects when needed.
Business Development: Represent the company to clients and partners to generate repeat business.
Strategic Planning: Lead go/no-go evaluations and growth strategy guidance.
Financial Management: Maintain full P&L responsibility, manage budgets and margins.
Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable processes.
