Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in Anchorage seeks a Construction Support Specialist to deliver essential administrative and operational support to the Division of Environmental Health and Engineering (DEHE) Construction team, handling invoices, timekeeping, scheduling, and data entry to ensure efficient field operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating field purchasing, tracking training hours, assisting with project controls, and supporting leadership with day-to-day workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience with administrative support in construction or field operations is a plus.
• Ability to manage invoices and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Timekeeper for field and Anchorage staff, with data entry into payroll system.
• Create and submit invoices for field stipends.
• Update Field Purchasing Logs and resolve unpaid field purchases with vendors, field purchasers, and accounts payable.
• Maintain apprentices’ on-the-job training hours and tracking.
• Provide travel and expense management support to the department.
• Attend meetings and take notes.
• Onboard new employees to the department.
• Order office supplies for the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
