Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a civil/environmental engineer to provide complex design services and coordinate sanitation and health facilities projects for the Division of Environmental Health and Engineering (DEHE) across Alaska.

Responsibilities include assisting with construction drawings, site investigations, and collaborating with specialists to develop plans. CAD support and field-team assistance are required, with frequent travel within Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Experience with environmental health standards and civil site design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in project design and coordination of sanitation and health facilities in rural Alaska communities.
• Prepares construction drawings and documents; conducts site investigations and surveys.
• Collaborates with engineers, vendors, and contractors to develop and review plans.
• Provides CAD for civil engineering projects and supports field staff.
