Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is offering a 10-week summer internship at our corporate headquarters for students pursuing a business-related degree.

You will work alongside industry leaders on vendor strategy, financial analysis, and strategic planning within an off-price retailer. You will gain hands-on experience through shadowing days and mentoring, with opportunities to present a capstone project to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• Interest in analytics, procurement, process improvement, and business operations.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and work with financial and operational data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships across teams and functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing vendor relationships, hosting QBRs, and financial analysis to support strategic decision making.
• Support management with quarterly, monthly, and/or weekly reporting.
• Maintain and organize vendor information.
• Help prepare presentations and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad-hoc projects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.

Our Internship Program

• A 10‑week summer program working out of our corporate headquarters where you will work side by side with industry leaders responsible for supporting critical initiatives including vendor strategy, relationships, financial analysis, and strategic planning at a leading off‑price retailer.
• Hands‑on experience with our shadowing days where you will gain exposure to key construction operations to understand the off‑price retail world and the strategic role vendor partnerships play in driving success.
• Direct mentorship from a current member of the Construction Operations team who will be your “buddy” for support and guidance throughout the program experience.
• Interactive networking opportunities with leadership and fellow interns offered throughout the duration of the program.
• An opportunity to develop and present a capstone project, leveraging insights gained throughout the internship. Final presentation to be shared with our Property Development senior leadership team.
• A hybrid schedule that aligns with team and business needs, including participation in required in‑person internship programming, orientation, key meetings, and other activities as applicable. (Subject to change.)

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• Expected to complete a Bachelor's degree between December2027 andMay2028.
• Interest in analytics, procurement, process improvement, and business operations.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and work with financial and operational data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use data and information to support problem solving, decision making, and business objectives.
• Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships across teams and functions.
• Demonstrated interest in learning new concepts, adapting to changing priorities, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and written, verbal, and active listening skills.
• Ability to take initiative, manage responsibilities independently, and work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation is required as Burlington is not easily accessible by public transportation.
