Job summary

SPC FlatironDragados Lane JV seeks an experienced Office Manager to oversee project site administration and facilities, supporting HR and payroll while ensuring policy compliance. This role coordinates with district leadership on travel, expenses, and reports, and drives onboarding of new hires for a major tunneling project in New Jersey.

Qualifications include 7+ years in construction administration, EEO/Davis Bacon knowledge, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years administrative experience in construction industry.
• Experience with EEO compliance, Davis Bacon Act and union labor relations.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Advanced knowledge of construction industry procedures.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Trains and supervises project office staff on policies and documentation procedures.
• Reviews office supply orders and service contracts for all locations in the district.
• Arranges travel and submits expense reports for district leadership.
• Generates financial and administrative reports for district leadership.
• Oversees onboarding and new hire documentation, drug screenings and orientation.
• Supports daily office administration and HR/payroll inquiries.
• Oversees EEO compliance trainings and communications for the US group.
• Audits weekly payroll processing at the project site and reports to agencies and payroll.
