Klingner & Associates, P.C. is seeking a Construction Observation & Construction Materials Testing Technician / Inspector to support our Construction Phase Services in Cape Girardeau, MO. This role blends field observation with lab testing across Southeast Missouri and Southwest Illinois.

Responsibilities include site testing of concrete, soil, and aggregate, plus meticulous documentation. Flexibility for overtime and seasonal work is expected; a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 2+ years construction experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Aptitude for basic math, time management, and ability to use spreadsheets and scheduling programs.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform field construction observation and materials testing (concrete, soil, aggregate).
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; ensure cleanliness and safe operating condition.
• Produce accurate documentation and analyze test results with basic math.
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend work during busy seasons.
