Job summary

Clarkson Construction Company in Missouri is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform standard concrete, soils, and aggregate testing in the field or lab to ensure materials meet specs.

Responsibilities include sampling, testing, reporting, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with project teams; candidates should have a high school diploma and basic computer skills, with certifications preferred (ACI, Nuclear Gauge, MoDOT/KDOT).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• KDOT/MoDOT Certifications – preferred.
• ACI Concrete Certification – preferred.
• Nuclear Gauge Certification – preferred.
• ACI Strength Certification – preferred.
• Field Aggregate Certification – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test construction materials such as concrete, aggregates, and soils.
• Maintain knowledge of current quality standards and specifications.
• Interact professionally with client representatives at project sites.
• Support evaluation and implementation of new material technologies throughout the company.
• Assist with maintenance of lab and field equipment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and maintaining safe working conditions.
• Responsible for PPE compliance and following OSHA standards.
• Preparation and submittal of reports to the Document Control System.
• Seek and obtain additional training as needed for changing industry testing requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
