Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Department Manager to lead our CMT operations in the Lubbock office. You will supervise field technicians and lab staff, manage project deliverables and ensure quality control across all testing activities.

The role requires strong leadership, communication and financial management skills, with a focus on safety and adherence to best practices. Texas-based office with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience with lab testing and field QA
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
• Experience with budgets, forecasts and financial management
• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of field services projects and lab operations
• Lead a team of CMT engineers, project managers, and technicians
• Ensure projects follow CMT engineering best practices, safety standards and QC procedures
• Perform technical review of proposals, reports and calculations
• Track department budget, revenue, forecasts and financial performance
• Set goals for the CMT/Field Services group and develop staff skills through training
• Assist senior staff with business development through community involvement and client engagement
• Promote company values, positive culture and high employee engagement
