Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Intern Level 2 to perform routine field and laboratory testing under supervision, with growing independence and emphasis on data collection and documentation.

You will support testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials, prepare reports, and coordinate with project teams while developing knowledge of testing standards and ECS core values.

Qualifications

• 90 days of related experience.
• At least one internship with ECS or another firm.
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Basic math and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation and testing under guidance.
• Conducts routine testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Documents field conditions and testing results in field reports.
• Assists in preparation and maintenance of field/lab equipment.
• Performs data entry and basic calculations.
• Communicates with contractors and project teams about testing activities.
