Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an CMT Intern Level I to observe and support routine field and laboratory testing activities for construction materials projects. The role develops foundational technical skills while working under supervision and maintaining a customer-focused attitude.

The candidate is currently pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering or related field and must be able to lift 85 pounds repeatedly while working in outdoor field conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction materials observation and testing in the field and lab.
• Observes and participates in testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Documents site conditions and testing results in field reports.
• Assists with preparation and organization of field and lab equipment.
• Performs basic data entry, calculations, and data reduction.
