Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Intern Level 3 in Virginia. The role involves field and laboratory testing across soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials, with increasing independence on complex projects.

You will support project coordination, documentation, and early project management activities while adhering to ECS core values and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Must have (or rapidly obtain) Radiation Safety, Soils I and Concrete I certifications.
• Inclination to perform field and laboratory testing with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing for soils, concrete, asphalt, steel, masonry.
• Document data accurately and prepare reports.
• Support project meetings and coordination of field activities.
• Assist in proposals, scopes of work and technical documentation.
