Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0 years of related experience.
• One certification must be completed within 90 days, including Radiation Safety, Soils I, and Concrete I.
• Valid driver's license required for ECS work.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in field conditions.
• Must be able to lift at least 85 pounds several times daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist with observation and testing in field and lab.
• Observe tests of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Document site conditions and test results in field reports.
• Prepare and organize field/lab equipment.
• Perform basic data entry, calculations, and data reduction.
• Communicate with field staff, contractors and project team.
• Inform supervisors of changing conditions or needs.
• Support laboratory testing including sample prep, curing, and testing.
• Maintain clean field and lab areas.
• Notify supervisors of damaged or missing equipment.
• Attend project meetings with senior staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
