Job summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Intern Level I in Ballenger Creek, MD. The role observes and begins performing routine field and laboratory testing tasks under supervision, supporting data collection, documentation, and testing activities while gaining familiarity with materials testing methods and project workflows.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate, bachelor, or master in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Must complete required certifications within the 90-day introductory period and 270 days for basic certifications including Radiation Safety, Soils I, and Concrete I.
• Must have a valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
• Document site conditions and test results in field reports.
• Prepare and organize field and laboratory equipment.
• Perform data entry, calculations, and data reduction.
