Job summary

AASHTO is seeking a Construction Materials Production Manager for our Frederick, MD office. This full-time role oversees scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the PSP production program, using various lab and construction equipment to prepare proficiency samples in soils, aggregates, asphalt, and related materials.

The candidate will ensure calibration and verification of equipment, manage supplier contacts for materials, lead training of team members, maintain PSP data files, and uphold

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in the construction industry or a related field.
• High school diploma required.
• Familiar with sample materials and general material handling processes.
• Computer operation skills (document creation/control, editing, spreadsheets).
• Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise PSP production activities.
• Maintain calibration, standardization, check, maintenance and verification of equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure raw materials for timely distribution.
• Lead training and evaluation of team members under PSP program.
• Maintain PSP data files and records securely for reporting.
• Ensure safety policies align with OSHA guidelines and QA programs.
