Job summary

With 50+ years of geotechnical, civil, environmental, and construction materials testing, S&ME seeks a Construction Materials Project Manager to lead testing from planning to reporting. You’ll mentor junior staff and drive project success on site, tests, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction materials testing/inspections.
• Active CM industry certifications such as ACI Field Testing Grade I and ICC Special Inspector; EIT on track for PE.
• Strong math and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform materials testing and coordinate inspections for soils, concrete, asphalt per specs.
• Review plans and specifications to determine testing needs and schedules.
• Document findings and results in Metafield and other reporting systems.
• Develop testing reports, project documentation, and proposals.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors and internal teams.
