Job summary

S&ME is seeking a Construction Materials Project Manager to join our Construction Services team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In this role, you'll lead construction materials testing and special inspection projects, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction. You will manage budgeting, scheduling, and supervision while mentoring staff and maintaining strong contractor relationships.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 4+ years of experience, and relevant certifications. The position offers a full-time schedule with competitive pay and numerous benefits to support your professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
• 2 years in a project management role preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage CMT and Special Inspection projects from start to finish.
• Work closely with clients and contractors to confirm project requirements.
• Lead inspections, review documentation, and mentor technicians.
• Oversee reports, proposals, and cost estimates.
• Build and maintain client relationships for business development.
