Job summary

Certerra Southwest, LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Construction Materials Project Manager to lead client projects, coordinate designers and testing, and ensure compliance with specifications. Responsibilities include performing inspections, preparing daily reports, tracking budgets, assisting with proposals, and mentoring junior staff while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction materials testing and observation experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organization and planning skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive).

Responsibilities

• Work with project designers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed.
• Perform routine to complex inspections and testing of construction materials in the field.
• Prepare daily reports on observation activities.
• Review observation and test data for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with proposal scoping and preparation.
• Track project budgets and prepare invoicing.
• Assist with training, supervision, and mentoring of junior staff as needed.
