Job summary

MC Squared is seeking a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician to join our Construction Services team. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on testing of soils, concrete, aggregates and other materials under experienced staff.

No prior lab experience is required; training will be provided. The successful candidate will be dependable, detail‑oriented and comfortable working with lab equipment in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.
• No prior laboratory experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing of soils, concrete, masonry, aggregates, and other construction materials.
• Prepare soil and aggregate samples for laboratory testing.
• Enter test results into laboratory reporting software and assist with laboratory reports.
• Assist with equipment inspections, calibration, and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
