Job summary

SMEUSA is seeking a Construction Materials Services Group Coordinator in Saginaw, MI to manage centralized equipment and supplies, track contracts, and standardize CMS processes across offices.

The role supports leadership, recruiting, and cross-functional teams, requiring 5+ years in admin or 3+ years in project coordination within construction or AEC contexts. Travel ~15% is required, with strong MS Office and planning-tool skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of administrative work in a construction or AEC environment or 3 years of project coordination/PM experience or a related bachelor’s degree with 1 year of coordination/PM experience.
• Willing to travel overnight ~15% of the time for visits, planning meetings, and training.
• Ability to solve complex problems and apply project management methods under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational, planning, and execution capabilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CMS leadership calendars, travel, and scheduling priorities.
• Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, reports, minutes, and action items.
• Support communications, planning materials, and project management documentation.
• Coordinate master agreements, contracts, and project setup across multiple offices.
• Assist with CMS-wide training, process standardization, and document control.
