Job summary

ECS Group’s Atlanta office is seeking an experienced engineering leader to serve as Group Manager, overseeing engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the Atlanta branch.

The role requires mentoring, strong communication, and a proven track record in geotechnical engineering, laboratory operations, project management, and client-facing activities to grow the practice.

Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience.
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college/university.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Proficient with geotechnical principles and applications.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory testing, construction observation, and field QA testing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong project management and marketing skills.
• Leadership qualifications and business development orientation.

• Oversee projects and perform technical report reviews, prepare proposals and management of the departments and group related P&L
• Assist other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
• Interact with senior staff members and mentor junior staff members
• Assist with recruiting and maintaining an adequate staff level in your group

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of related experience
