Unknown is seeking a Materials Handler to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts and supplies on construction projects under the guidance of project managers and site leadership.

The role involves reviewing schedules, requisitioning materials, inspecting deliveries, and maintaining inventories while moving items on site and arranging repairs as needed. It emphasizes reliability, safety, and accurate record-keeping for project success.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year directly related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of material used in an industrial construction setting for all crafts.
• Driver’s License with a clean driving record within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules with project supervisors to determine material requirements.
• Requisition materials and set sequential delivery dates according to priorities and availability.
• Inspect delivered materials for conformance to manifests and specifications.
• Maintain inventories and in-process production reports and status of materials.
• Move materials between areas and arrange repair or assembly as needed.
• Monitor and control movement of material and parts on site.
• Handle materials and parts on project sites as required.
• Perform other duties necessary to support department goals.
