Job summary

NANA Construction in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a Material Handler to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials to support all projects as directed by the project manager and site leadership. Minimum one year of directly related experience.
Thorough knowledge of materials used in industrial construction.

Responsibilities

Review production schedules and confer with project supervisors to determine material requirements.
Requisition materials and set sequential delivery dates based on priorities and availability.
Inspect delivered materials for conformance to manifest and specifications.
Maintain records of material inventory and status of materials.
Move or transport materials between areas; arrange for repair and assembly when needed.
Monitor and control movement of materials and parts on site.
Assist with other duties to support department success.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
