Job summary

TTL, Inc. in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a construction materials field technician to monitor, sample, and test materials used in construction projects. You’ll perform routine field and laboratory tests to verify conformity with plans and specifications, and report daily data.

No experience? No problem. We’ll start you at $18/hour, or more if you’ve been in the field for a while, and we’ll even pay for certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree with an emphasis in physical sciences and/or math preferred.
• Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing.
• Good driving record.
• Perform heavy lifting of 50 or more pounds.
• Work in outdoor (hot or cold) environments.
• One year of testing experience in soil, concrete, earthwork, and asphalt preferred (but not required)
