Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage incoming calls, take orders, and schedule daily deliveries. The CSR will leverage local service area knowledge, especially in transportation and construction contexts, to provide accurate and timely information to customers.

Responsibilities include processing payments, quoting COD orders, data entry for KPIs, and supporting payroll verification for concrete plants, with a professional, customer-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, DOT regulations, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and receive orders within a centralized call center.
• Process credit card charges and quote COD orders.
• Enter data and assist with payroll verification for plants as needed.
• Schedule, dispatch and coordinate drivers to meet customer demand while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Assist drivers in locating jobsites and determine travel time to plants and locations.
