WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Responsibilities: As a Construction Materials Testing Technician in Hagerstown, MD, you will:

• Perform field observations at regional jobsites
• Sample and test construction materials including soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and steel
• Prepare daily logs of inspections and test results
• Communicate daily with project managers regarding project progress

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record
• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and work outdoors in various terrains and climates
• Attention to safety, detail, and quality
• Effective communication skills, familiarity with MS Office, basic math, and measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret plans with training

Preference for experienced technicians with certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL. EE/Minorities and Women encouraged to apply.

Additional bonuses include a $200 sign-on bonus after 90 days and a $200 retention bonus after one year.

Salary: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
