SEYSES is seeking a Construction Manager – Utility Scale Solar to serve as the Owner's Representative on site for utility-scale solar and storage projects across the United States. You will oversee construction activities, coordinate with EPCs, ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence while upholding contractual and quality requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and extensive field experience in renewable energy projects; travel within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years as Construction Manager/Owner's Representative or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven experience in utility-scale solar PV projects and EPC contractor oversight.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States.

• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Job Summary

The Construction Manager will act as the Owner's Representative on site, overseeing construction activities on behalf of our clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience managing utility-scale renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the client during all construction phases.

• Supervise EPC contractors and subcontractors.

• Monitor construction progress against schedule and budget.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and project management teams.

• Lead site meetings and prepare progress reports.

• Review RFIs, NCRs, punch lists, and technical documentation.

• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.

• Liaise with local authorities, utilities, inspectors, and stakeholders when required.

• Support project close-out and handover activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Construction Manager, Site Manager, Owner's Representative, or similar.

• Proven experience in utility-scale solar PV projects.

• Experience managing EPC contractors.

• Strong understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical construction activities.

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Ability to travel extensively within the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

• High Voltage Substations

• Transmission or Interconnection facilities

• Owner's Engineering environments

• OSHA 30 Certification

• Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

• Experience working with developers, IPPs, or owner's representatives
