Job summary

Strata Clean Energy is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee all construction aspects of our utility-scale solar projects. The CM sets work schedules, manages subcontractors, assigns crews and trades, ensures tools and materials are available, and reviews designs with engineering, with safety at the forefront.

Our Construction Managers are on-site at the assigned project location and move to the next project when needed; current projects are in VA/SC/NC.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct construction management experience in utility work or heavy construction projects.
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification preferred.
• Must have a valid current driver license and ability to pass driving requirements.
• Able to travel up to 95% (per diems and rotation schedule offered).
• Management experience with utility-scale solar projects desired.
• Experience and understanding of contract requirements, scheduling concepts and exceptions.
• Civil and Electrical knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sets up initial layout and site infrastructure services (water, power, internet, office trailers).
• Schedules staffing for daily construction activities with employees and sub-contractors.
• Coordinates schedules with construction, engineering, and purchasing departments.
• Ensures safety of all personnel, vendors, sub-contractors, and temporary labor.
• Acts as primary on-site leader and manages execution teams and subcontractors.
