Job summary

MetroNet in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a Construction Manager for special projects to lead budgets, schedules, and customer communications. You will manage the project team, interpret specifications, and ensure on-time, under-budget delivery.

Reporting to the Manager of Construction, you will review contracts, assign duties, and maintain close client relations while driving quality and efficiency across field operations. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in construction management, electrical or civil engineering preferred.
• Ten or more years of telecommunications OSP design and construction experience required.
• Strong knowledge of telecom construction, budgeting, scheduling, finance, cost reporting, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and project requirements.
• Create and execute work plans, schedules, and budgets; allocate resources.
• Assign duties to project team and staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to meet timelines and budgets.
• Provide progress reports to customers and manage changes.
• Make decisions on scope and delivery; interpret project specifications.
• Communicate requirements to staff and clarify technology and design needs.
• Act as project spokesperson; manage relationships with customers.
• Ensure compliance with permits and approvals; review cost reports.
• Maintain communication with the Director of Construction.
• Deliver quality results in a cost-efficient manner.
• Represent MetroNet professionally to satisfy customer needs.
