Job summary

McDonald’s Corporation in Chicago is seeking a Construction and Real Estate Development professional to support the Reinvestment team in the Dallas Field Office region. You will help plan market opportunities, coordinate site development, and ensure adherence to development standards across multiple restaurants.

The role requires strong project management, construction contract oversight, and collaboration with owners, operators, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Construction management experience required.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel regionally 50%+ as required.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze market data for restaurant potential and portfolio strategy.
• Assist in creating vision plans for existing restaurant portfolios.
• Ensure accuracy of portfolio databases and records.
• Apply development standards to optimize sales of existing restaurants.
• Identify opportunities for improvements to physical plant and infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Portfolio Manager to resolve property issues.
• Oversee construction processes and manage project timelines.
• Develop plans with Real Estate COE & Field Development Team.
• Ensure quality control for construction (cost, timing, design).
• Negotiate construction agreements and present contracts to management.
• Obtain entitlements and approvals; maintain construction files.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with operators and outside consultants.
