Job summary

SIRIS LLC in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Construction Manager / PE-Licensed Electrical Engineer to support a healthcare modernization project onsite. The role reports to the Program Manager and coordinates with VA staff, providing technical oversight, reports, and project data.

The ideal candidate will bring electrical engineering expertise and hands-on construction management experience to manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk while ensuring compliance with VA standards and project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Six years of experience in electrical engineering with design and construction exposure.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day construction activities, including inspections, schedule monitoring, quality control, safety compliance, and issue resolution.
Manage construction administration: RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay apps, testing, inspections, documentation.
Review drawings, specs, schedules, and contracts to ensure work aligns with requirements.
Monitor schedule and cost performance, budget tracking, cost estimation, and potential impacts.
Coordinate commissioning activities and support project closeout with as-built documentation.
