Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Construction Manager for the Northeast region to lead all phases of new coffeehouse development projects. The role partners with Real Estate, Design, Operations, Planning and Delivery to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of construction PM experience in retail/restaurant, strong budgeting and bidding skills, and is located in the Cleveland area, Upstate New York, or Connecticut.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, Architecture, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or commercial environments.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of general contractor management and construction bidding experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and capital planning.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with permitting, entitlement, and jurisdictional coordination.
• Minimum of 5 years of new store development and/or renovation project delivery experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of cross-functional project leadership experience.
• Previous experience in QSR highly preferred.

The construction manager serves as the primary point of accountability for construction execution and partners closely with Real Estate, Design, Operations, Planning, execution, and delivery of New Coffeehouses in the Northeast region. The construction manager oversees the successful delivery of new coffeehouse development projects ensuring all projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Starbucks design and construction standards.

As a construction manager, you will…

• If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
