Job summary

CESO, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee multiple projects for multiple clients, acting as an extension of owner design and construction staff.

Responsibilities include reviewing docs, vendor proposals, reporting, and site progress to ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality are met. The role requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field with 4+ years of direct project management experience, or 10 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field with minimum 4 years direct project management exp preferred
• Or 10 years related experience and/or training required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Deltek, Newforma and SmartSheet

Responsibilities

• Review construction documentation, schedules, scopes, and reports to support project objectives.
• Review vendor proposals and awards in coordination with the client after negotiations.
• Follow standards for project reporting, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Lead start-up activities and assume overall project responsibilities.
• Perform on-site reviews to monitor progress against the schedule.
• Schedule and document weekly project meetings through the construction phase.
• Inspect work to verify compliance with contract terms and specs.
• Review monthly pay applications for accuracy and timeliness.
• Communicate project issues including cost/schedule impacts to leadership and client contacts.
• Ensure close-out docs and punch-list items are completed prior to final release.
