Job summary

leading-edge is seeking an experienced Construction Manager in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX to oversee projects from planning through completion. You will coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers, while managing schedules, budgets, and safety compliance on active sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction management experience, a strong grasp of scheduling and budgeting, and proficiency with industry software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of construction management experience.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and OSHA safety requirements.
• OSHA certification and PMP certification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
• Monitor daily site activities and overall project progress.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and change orders.
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential budget risks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, safety procedures, and applicable building codes.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress reports.
• Resolve construction issues, delays, and coordination conflicts.
• Review contractor performance and subcontractor deliverables.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
