Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a Construction Manager Intern/Co-Op in Boone, IA, to support on-site project supervision for food and beverage facilities. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor schedules and budgets, and help ensure site safety and quality.

You are a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Construction Management, with a 3.0 GPA, and you should be comfortable presenting to clients, using Excel and MS Project, and traveling up to 100% to projects across the USA and Canada.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (junior or senior). GPA 3.0+.
• Familiarity with Design-build construction method.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Support project accounting, budgeting, and cost management.
• Establish and maintain site safety procedures.
• Coordinate field engineering and subcontractor activities.
• Prepare project reports, logs, and close-out tasks.
• Travel up to 100% to sites across the USA and Canada.
