Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Construction Manager (II) to oversee the installation of DI equipment at client sites. You will manage field activities, coordinate with customers, utilities, and AHJs, and ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, managing subcontractors, and controlling project financials while maintaining high quality and customer service for energy-industry projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 4+ years in construction; energy industries preferred.
• Knowledge of construction management, financials, and construction processes.
• Experience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, customers, engineers, utilities, and AHJ’s.
• Ability to identify and manage priorities with urgency, while maintaining high quality and customer service.
• Proficient with computer and standard office software and construction management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, product data submittals and site specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and legal requirements.
• Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and employees to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customer, utility, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Understand the financials of a project and be able to create and issue Purchase Orders.
• Ensure project sites are kept tidy and follow housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with respective parties for timely project execution.
• Communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, on time, and on budget.
