Job summary

National Technologies (NTI), a Network Connex Company, is a premier turnkey installer of fiber optic and data center infrastructure. The Construction Manager I will oversee on-site crews and subcontractors, ensuring project execution aligns with scope, safety, quality and schedule.

You will prepare reports, track progress, and manage change orders, while maintaining strong client and team communications. This role requires 3+ years in telecom construction and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Able to read customer-provided prints and determine tasks.
• Deep understanding of electrical infrastructure construction including underground utilities.
• Manage subcontractor relationships.
• Experience in telecom project construction management.
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution including scope, cost, safety, quality, schedule and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare status reports and keep project trackers updated.
• Complete projects within timeframes and funding parameters to meet standards.
• Monitor audit findings and implement corrections within timelines.
• Capture change orders and coordinate material delivery.
• Enter and maintain project financial progress in the financial software.
• Conduct site walks for bid opportunities and design to standards.
• Perform weekly quality and safety audits of crews.
• Hold daily tailgate meetings.
