Job summary

GAC Enterprises LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Construction Manager I to support coordination and execution of telecom and infrastructure projects. This entry point into construction management offers hands-on experience with field supervisors, crews, and project teams.

You will develop planning, scheduling, and leadership skills while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery across active sites, with travel up to 50%. Strong communication and proficiency with Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of telecom or construction experience.
• Prior field leadership experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read construction prints and use Google Earth.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with Fieldwire or similar project management tools.
• Understanding of UG and aerial equipment, tools, trucks, and drills.
• Valid driver's license; OSHA certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned projects to understand scope, timelines, and requirements.
• Support planning, scheduling, and coordination of field operations.
• Provide direction and support to Field Supervisors and crews.
• Monitor job site progress for alignment with project plans.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and field resources.
• Maintain project tracking systems and ensure accurate reporting.
• Support submission of production reports, timecards, and field documentation.
• Communicate field updates, risks, and constraints to Project Managers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and PPE requirements.
