Amentum invites applications for the Construction Manager position supporting NASA Langley’s Center Maintenance, Operations and Engineering Contract (CMOE) at Langley Research Center.

Reporting to the Construction Field Services Supervisor, the role requires a certified Apprenticeship and 10 years of construction experience, with mechanical/process systems expertise and strong leadership. The position is hourly under the SCA with extensive safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Position requires completion of a certified Apprenticeship program and a minimum of 10 years related Construction experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Mechanical/Process systems; ability to lead and direct work of others.
• Effective oral and written communication with use of visual aids.
• Leadership and teamwork skills; proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Daily project scheduling, technical review of submittals, coordination of subcontractor performance and compliance, coordination of facility access, facility activities and outages, and responsibility for daily project safety and success.
