Job summary

Keville Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a full-time construction manager to provide construction oversight and inspections on linear water and wastewater projects on Cape Cod and in southeastern Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in water/wastewater or related construction, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel and project reporting tools. Daily on-site work is required with some evenings or weekends during critical phases.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of water/wastewater pipeline experience.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and construction reporting software.
• Effective written and oral communication skills; team player.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Valid US driver’s license and OSHA 10 certification.

Responsibilities

• Represent the project owner in daily oversight of construction activities.
• Coordinate the activities of owner, designer, contractor, public utility, and abutter personnel.
• Monitor and advise on project budget and schedule status.
• Analyze, estimate, and negotiate potential change orders and claims.
• Contract administration and documentation duties.
• Identify and resolve construction field issues and report daily progress.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure conformance with plans and specs.
• Track quantities and maintain oversight and reporting.

Duties:

• representing the project owner in daily oversight of construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in managing, inspecting, testing, and coordinating wastewater/water pipeline systems is a must.
• Candidates must be fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software.
• Must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks and be a team player.
• A minimum of three years of experience in water/wastewater pipeline systems or a relevant construction field is required, with two years in a field construction management capacity.
• Any of the following Professional certifications are strongly preferred: PE, CCM, MA CSL, EIT, CMIT, CACM; NICET; NETTCP; ACI; NACE; AWS/CWI.
• Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) or Associates Degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.

Employees assigned to driving duties ("drivers") must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy.

OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment.

Daily on-site presence is required, with occasional evening or weekend work during critical project phases or to meet project deadlines.
