Responsibilities
- Manage construction and project management of multiple complex projects at an international airport.
- Monitor execution of technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications.
- Resolve field issues and respond to RFIs.
- Act as onsite liaison with contractors and oversee construction progress.
- Coordinate activities of contractors, engineers, architects, and related entities.
- Manage project controls, costs, schedules, and performance activities.
- Conduct project meetings, document outcomes, and track relevant information.
- Ensure adherence to safety, performance, and contractual requirements.
- Manage project logistics, organization, and safety protocols.
- Oversee project closeout, guarantees, warranties, and turnover to owner.
- Ensure project team compliance with safety standards.
- Perform additional duties to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years as a Construction Manager and 3 years supervising staff.
- Experience with public projects.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with construction estimating, project controls, scheduling, and engineering principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple contractors and projects simultaneously.
- Registration as Architect, PE, or General Contractor preferred.
- Certified Construction Manager preferred.
